How the field test works

  1. Receive an invitation with the verified Backwoods AI sender number.
  2. Save it as a contact, then reply TEST while you have service.
  3. Save a spot and try the listed commands before your trip. Record what worked and what did not.

Forecasts come from the National Weather Service and cover the US only. We don't answer regulation or avalanche-safety questions; check Utah DWR and the Utah Avalanche Center. In an emergency, use SOS or call 911.

Texting terms
